A viral video capturing a traffic police officer allegedly taking bribes through novel techniques at the busy Kumarshil intersection in Brahmanbaria has sparked intense public outrage. The footage shows the on-duty officer engaging in suspicious cash transactions with drivers, raising serious concerns regarding transparency and accountability in traffic management.

According to local sources, vehicles—especially CNG-run autorickshaws and light transport—were halted under the guise of document checks, after which money was discreetly collected and pocketed.
