Police have recovered a severed human leg buried underground in Savar, Dhaka. The leg was dug out from an empty plot of land. The incident has sparked panic and curiosity among the local residents.
According to the police, some local residents first spotted a portion of the leg sticking out of the ground. They immediately informed others in the area. Upon receiving the news, the police rushed to the spot, dug up the ground, and recovered the severed leg. It is suspected that someone buried it there a few days ago.
Following the incident, the police are speaking with local residents. Locals mentioned they had never witnessed such an incident before. They demanded that the mystery behind this event be uncovered quickly and the culprits be identified. Police said efforts are ongoing to identify whom the leg belongs to.
The recovered leg has been sent to the Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy. Police stated that DNA testing will be used to identify the owner of the leg. At the same time, they are investigating whether anyone has gone missing in the area recently.
