Local government elections to be held in 56,592 centers

The Election Commission has made major preparations ahead of the local government elections in the country. A total of 56,592 polling stations have been finalized across the country. Voters in all districts and upazilas will cast their ballots at these centers to choose their representatives. According to Election Commission sources, these centers have been selected to make voting easier for the general public.

Millions of voters will exercise their right to franchise in this election. According to the Election Commission, the number of polling centers has been slightly increased compared to previous elections to prevent voters from waiting in long queues. Work has begun to deploy adequate security personnel and assign polling officers to each center.

Local residents expressed their hope that there will be no chaos at the polling stations and everyone can vote safely. On the other hand, election officials stated that the local administration and law enforcement agencies will work together to maintain a peaceful environment at every center.
